3 Ways Used Work Uniforms Are A Great Fit For You

This might sound counterproductive, because we sell new uniforms.

But we also think there is something to be said for buying used work uniforms.

There is certainly a time and place for each.

In this article, we're going to talk about how used work uniforms can be a good fit for you. We'll touch on how they help you to just get started, then grow further. We'll comment on building team cohesiveness with quality used work uniforms. We'll even touch on everyone's favorite topic: saving money with used work uniforms.

With that said, let's jump into what might be the hardest part of doing anything, starting.

They help you start

Starting anything new can be daunting, and starting a new business is certainly no exception. There's so much to think about, from meeting new customers to building new systems and processes. But one thing you shouldn't have to worry about is what to wear. With the right used work uniforms, you can look professional and confident in your community.

As a beginner, you might not have the resources to buy new workwear. And maybe that's ok.

Used work uniforms can help you to make a good impression, so long as they are in respectable condition. They can help you look professional to new customers that need you for your service. Building trust is a vital component to running a business. Research from PWC shows that the trust gap consumers have with businesses is widening in recent years.

Again, as long as your uniform isn't falling apart at the seams, you'll look professional. You'll be seen as someone that looks like they belong in the community to provide a service. This visibility is invaluable.

Don't let the perfect or most expensive look keep you from getting started.

They build team cohesiveness

Let's say you've been in business for a while. Maybe you've even got a very small team. At this point, you're less worried about just starting. Now, you're trying to build a cohesive team.

If you have a team, they should also help build trust for themselves and your brand. A used work uniform can help with that.

Often, when people think of a team, they think of sports. What are athletes almost always wearing? The same uniform.

Employees that are dressed accordingly, even if in used work uniforms, work as a unit. They're able to align more easily because of a shared vision and purpose. Used work uniforms can be a part of this.

Overall, used work uniforms can be a great way to build team cohesiveness and create a more positive and productive work environment.

They don't break the bank

This is what most people care about.

How much does the thing cost?

Again, we sell only new uniforms. We've never sold used work uniforms.

But one thing we've done that could be viewed as used work uniforms is donate old stock. So let's talk about that process.

We've put inventory programs in place for customers that used to work with us. Some of them were pretty large, well-known regional or national companies. Because of their size, it made sense to keep a specific amount of inventory on hand for their styles. This way, we could process their orders more quickly and easily.

However, when they started buying from another provider, their orders for that inventory declined dramatically. This left a lot of stock on the shelves with no one to buy it.

Now, we were able to sell some of it over the next 6-12 months before their contract came to an end. We were also able to include those styles into other programs that could order from that inventory.

But for the stock we couldn't do anything with, we donated it. And that is the easiest way to buy "used" work uniforms. They've never been worn. But the uniform company no longer has a use for them and they can't be returned for credit.

So if you're trying to find used work uniforms on the cheap, consider places where clothing is donated. Goodwill locations or church charities might have the workwear you need to get started without breaking the bank.

And we're aware that it doesn't make sense for us to drive people to retail-type locations for their workwear. But the truth is, our online solutions aren't a fit for everyone. Sometimes businesses are looking for a solution that we can't solve at that moment

But our goal isn't to sell work uniforms to everyone. Our goal is to help you find the right fit for you. Your workwear should fit. The method you purchase that workwear should also fit. Let us know how we can help you solve your problems.
